Fourth party logistics, or 4PL, is a supply chain management company that acts as an intermediary between the client and other logistics service providers, such as carriers, warehouses, and 3PLs (Third-Party Logistics). The 4PL coordinates and integrates all the resources, capabilities, and technology of its own organization and those of its strategic partners to design, build, and manage comprehensive supply chain solutions.
