MELVINDALE, Mich. April 30, 2024 — Evans Distribution Systems, a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain solutions, welcomes Trevor Emmons as its Operations Manager.
In his role, Emmons is responsible for the daily operations and associates at Evans’ facility in Romulus, Mich. The position requires close tracking of shipments and receipts, invoicing, operational efficiency, and reporting.
“With his extensive background in automotive manufacturing and logistics, Trevor hit the ground running as we brought on a new building and had to shift our resources around,” says Steve Ruch, Vice President of Warehousing. “Our recent growth requires the best of the best, and Trevor has proven to be just that.”
Prior to Evans, Emmons held multiple positions during his 11 years at Thai Summit, a top automotive supplier to Stellantis, Ford, and General Motors. Most recently Emmons managed EV battery operations and storage for Dana Corporation and Samsung.
It was at Samsung when Emmons’ path crossed with Evans Distribution. “I met Evans personnel and knew that I wanted to be a part of their team,” Emmons says. “I couldn’t wait to get started,” he says.
