MELVINDALE, Mich. May 13, 2024 — Evans Distribution Systems, a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain solutions, is proud to announce its Chief Marketing Officer, Leslie Ajlouny, was recognized with the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) Pinnacle Award during the 2024 IWLA Convention & Expo. Ajlouny received the award alongside fellow Board of Director members, Brett Mears, President of Palmer Logistics and Jared Stadlin, President of Linden Warehouse & Distribution Co.
The Pinnacle Award acknowledges individuals whose contributions have significantly increased the value of IWLA membership. Developed in 2015, the award is the highest honor given to a member and represents individuals who complete a specific, timely service for IWLA members.
“The IWLA Executive Committee couldn’t select one person to receive the award as the recipients collectively carried IWLA through the most difficult times in recent history,” says Jay Strother, IWLA President & CEO. “These individuals’ leadership made it possible for IWLA to succeed as an association and support the industry.”
Ajlouny dedicated numerous years to IWLA serving on several committees followed by her service on IWLA’s Board of Directors. But it was her instrumental leadership as Chairwoman 2020-2021 during the height of the pandemic that propelled Ajlouny to receive this top industry honor.
“IWLA has provided me so many opportunities to lead, grow, and connect with an exceptional group of warehouse logistics professionals,” says Leslie Ajlouny. “I’m grateful to have fond memories and personal connections to carry with me into the next chapter.” Ajlouny announced her planned retirement in July of 2023.
