MELVINDALE, Mich. Mar. 15, 2022 — Evans Distribution Systems, a provider of third-party logistics and supply chain solutions, welcomes Nick Cardone, as its new Transportation Operations Manager.
In his role, Cardone will oversee the operations for Alden Logistics, Inc., Evans’ asset-based transportation division. His responsibilities include communicating with logistics coordinators, drivers, and customers to ensure an efficient shipping process.
“Nick brings with him a strong transportation background and is process-driven,” says Anthony Trocki, vice president of transportation at Evans Distribution Systems. “This along with his solid work ethic makes him a great addition to our transportation management team. I look forward to overseeing Nick’s growth and success here at Evans.”
Prior to Evans, Cardone managed fleet operations for Universal Logistics’ flatbed, refrigerated, dry van and intermodal divisions. Cardone is eager to put his transportation knowledge to good use to strengthen internal processes in Alden Logistics, Inc.

Cardone holds a bachelor’s degree in Global Supply Chain Management from Wayne State University.
