Evans’ Romulus Warehouse Receives Liquor License

MELVINDALE, Mich. August 15, 2022  Evans Distribution Systems, a full-service provider of third-party logistics (3PL) solutions including warehousing, transportation, fulfillment, value-added services, and staffing, has acquired a license from the Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) permitting its Romulus-based warehouse to store alcoholic beverages. Four out of Evans’ eight multi-client warehouse facilities are now liquor-licensed.

“With more than 90 years of experience supporting distillers, brewers, and distributors, Evans is an ideal partner for alcoholic beverage companies interested in leveraging our foreign trade zone, value-added services, and flexible warehousing services,” says Leslie Ajlouny, Chief Marketing Officer for Evans. “This additional liquor license strengthens our relationship with existing customers and increases capacity available for new partners.”

Evans’ second Romulus warehouse offers 330,000 square-feet of warehouse space equipped with 30 dock doors. The facility is also food-grade certified, rail-served by CSX, and operates as a general-purpose foreign trade zone (FTZ).
